Panama City is located in Bay County, Florida, on
the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in the
panhandle of Florida. Panama
City Writers Association, Inc., was established in 1999. We are a successor
interest group that meets informally, welcoming people of all ages and writing interests. Our
purpose is to provide education, networking, and growth to our members and
community. PCWA is dedicated to promoting fellowship among
novice and published writers in all genres and related fields. We
strive to encourage and inspire local writers and to provide a venue to share
writing knowledge and experience. PCWA continues to function with a focus on achievement
of individual writing goals: helping each other through encouragement,
critiques and whatever else helps us get it down on paper or onscreen.
The Panama City Writers Association meets at 6:30
PM on
the first and third Tuesday of each month, at the St. Andrews Civic Center. The St. Andrews Civic Center is located at 2629 West 10th Street. Here is a map. Visitors and new members always are welcome.
